The signed letter condemning the looted graves at the Almshouse draws the eye of the board members and newspaper readers. The six Guardians of the Poor who signed it stand resolute, protesting the practice of grave robbery at the Blockley Almshouse. Despite pushback from their fellow board members and medical students from the University of Pennsylvania and Jefferson University, opposition to the grave robbing and the fight for dignity for deceased patients continues.
