The crowd grows in number and volume as they make their way toward the anatomist's home. They are outraged over the use of human remains stolen from the nearby burial grounds. The remains were dismembered in anatomical lectures by Dr. William Shippen, a White doctor and instructor. Collecting outside his home, they shout for justice into the late hours of the night.
